The Cottage

We love our beach cottage, a small, charming getaway place on Whidbey Island.  It's a place where our own family often stays. Originally a fisherman's rental cabin built in 1926, it was moved to its current location from Bush Point in 1976.

Recently renovated, the Cottage is one-half of an 800 square foot duplex.  It includes one bedroom with a double bed, a sitting room with a futon couch that converts to a double bed, a small kitchen, plus a bathroom with shower.  Because the island is such a wonderful, peaceful place, we do not offer TV or phone service.  Wi-Fi is available, but we encourage you to simplify your life for a few days.  It's the perfect place to "get away from it all!"

With the double bed and futon, the cottage comfortably accommodates two adults or a couple with one child.  The cottage is fully ready for you with linens, towels, and a kitchen with a new stove and a full-sized refrigerator (no microwave or dishwasher).  There are plenty of dishes, glassware, eating and cooking utensils, pots and pans with lids, and a Mr. Coffee coffeepot.  Just minutes away, you will find a well-stocked grocery store and excellent restaurants.
